FREE EVENT!
Attendees of the Youth Adventure Day will get an introduction to versatile dogs, as well as first-hand experience in handling them.
The attendees will join their mentors and the mentor’s dogs in rotating through three different stations, where they will be encouraged to handle their mentor’s dog at the stations.
The different stations will highlight the major points of emphasis for a versatile dog (searching, pointing, swimming, tracking, and an introduction to the recovery of game).
Attendees will also get a brief overview of NAVHDA and components of the Natural Ability Test.
*NOTE* For this event, participants will NOT be working with their own dog (if they have one).
