Youth Adventure Day – Plants, Nature & Outdoor Skills!
Join us for our final Youth Adventure Day as we explore the plants and natural world of Minnesota! This hands-on experience will teach kids how to identify local plants, including which are safe, edible, and which to avoid.
We’ll head out on a nature hike and scavenger hunt, learning to spot plants found in our woods and fields. After a lunch break, kids will receive their own wildflower seed packets to take home and plant—helping them bring a piece of the outdoors with them.
To wrap up the day, we’ll finish with a fun, interactive scavenger hunt that brings together everything learned throughout the summer’s events—dogs, birds, and plants!
It’s a great way to build confidence, outdoor knowledge, and a lasting connection to nature.
