The class is for dogs from 12 weeks to 12 months of age.

This class uses positive reinforcement methods to teach what your dog should know before you head to the field. It will cover the basics of clicker training, heel, down/stay, crate manners, recall and retrieving, along with other aspects of basic obedience. This class is for training you to train your dog. Reference sheets will be provided at each class to help with the home training. The expectation is you will work with your dog at home for 20 minutes a day, several days a week. The size of the class will be limited to 12 so we have sufficient space to spread out.
Tools you will need: clicker, treats & treat bag, 5-6 foot lead, flat collar, dumbbell style retrieving dummy, kennel & blanket to cover, and carpet square for your dog to lay on. You may also want a 5 gallon pail to put your stuff in and use as a seat for some to the training.
Do not bring a grab/pinch collar or e-collars to class.
